Voluntary contribution to flood affected area
Faculty and staff had contributed voluntarily to the relief fund for the flood affected areas from their salaries. During the months of August and September, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana had experienced severe flooding caused by heavy to extremely heavy rainfall.
