Prof. P Krishna Reddy planted a Bakul tree on 26 September on the occasion of World Environment Health Day. Established in 2011 by the International Federation of Environmental Health (IFEH),  with a goal to raise awareness regarding the health of our environment, 26 September is observed annually as World Environmental Health Day across the globe. The theme this year was Prioritizing Environmental Health for healthier communities in global recovery.
