Dr. Ravi Kiran Sarvadevabhatla’s project proposal on developing AI based solutions for understanding historical manuscripts was awarded second prize at the GyanSetu AI Innovation Challenge at Gyan Bharatam International Conference at Delhi on 13 September. 

The prize was awarded by Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Hon’ble Minister of State for Culture in the presence of Fields Medalist Manjul Bhargava. The prize winners will be part of a funded pilot project to support the goals of the Gyan Bharatam initiative, launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi on 13 September.
