Queer Film Festival

The Queer Club organised Queer Film Festival from 31 August to 1 September.  The Queer Film Festival presented a

curated selection of landmark queer films, celebrating diverse stories and pivotal moments in LGBTQ+ cinema. The lineup included beloved classics and modern gems such as – But I’m A Cheerleader, Saving Face, Love Lies Bleeding, Brokeback Mountain, Call Me By Your Name, and Carol. Audiences experienced bold and impactful works like Bottoms, Funeral Parade of Roses, Tangerine, Paris Is Burning, I Saw The TV Glow, and The Celluloid Closet. This festival honored the artistry and cultural impact of queer filmmaking, offering a powerful journey through themes of love, identity, and resilience.

Wall Painting

The club painted a wall allocated to the Queer Club near Kadamb, with members from various batches coming together to help on 28 September. Music played in the background as they worked. This initiative aims to raise awareness and foster support for the queer community, creating a visible symbol of inclusivity and solidarity.
