IIIT Hyderabad’s largest and most vibrant annual fest, Felicity 2026, was held from 13 to 15 February, bringing together students for three unforgettable days of culture, creativity, and community. Known for its eclectic mix of performances, competitions, workshops, and flagship events, Felicity once again transformed the campus into a dynamic hub of energy and expression.
This year’s fest embraced a lively Retro Disco theme, drawing inspiration from classic Bollywood of the ’70s and ’80s. Shimmering disco balls, vinyl-inspired aesthetics, vintage fashion, and iconic melodies set the tone, blending nostalgia with contemporary flair. The campus came alive with groovy dance floors and timeless beats that celebrated an era while reimagining it for a new generation.

A major highlight was the all-day carnival at the football ground, featuring a range of engaging activities and attractions. From bull rides and balloon shooting to hammer strength challenges, body zorbing, and archery, the carnival offered something for everyone. Student-run stalls across the campus added their own creative touch, bringing together food, games, art, and innovation in distinctive and delightful ways.
As evening descended, the main stage events took center stage. Dance competitions, theatrical performances, skits, and band showcases kept the excitement building each day. The much-anticipated Pro-Nights lit up the campus with electrifying performances by Chaar Diwari, Anuj Rehaan, and Shreya Baruah, along with stand-up comedians Vivek Samtani and Pranav Sharma, ensuring nights filled with music, laughter, and high spirits.
No fest is complete without great food, and Felicity 2026 delivered on that front as well. A diverse range of food stalls across the campus catered to every palate, adding to the festive atmosphere throughout the three days.
Students, faculty, staff, and their families joined in the celebrations—enjoying the carnival, exploring the stalls, and soaking in the vibrant spirit of Felicity—making it yet another memorable chapter in the cultural life of IIIT Hyderabad.
