Dr. P Pravin Kumar Venkat Rao, Earthquake Engineering Research Center  (EERC) has been awarded the Indian Association of Structural Engineers National Award 2020 in the category of Promising Young Structural Engineer of the Year Award 2020 . This award is given for his novel and innovative research contribution. His research stands out in the application part and plays an important role in the structural retrofitting. This award is given to scientists below 35 years. The felicitation ceremony will be at the end of May or in the beginning of June 2021.
