An evening with Yaman was organised by Students Life Council (SLC) under the supervision of Dr. T K Saroja (CEH) on 11 January at Tarangini amphitheatre.

The students of IIIT-H sang various melodies in raag Yaman from different musical forms like patriotic, bhajan, ghazal, qawwali etc. Students of Sanskar school along with Mrs. T K L Sujatha and Anudeep, an alumnus also participated in the event. Accompanying the singers were N Uday Kumar on tabla, R Sudhakara on veena, and IIIT-H students on keyboard, guitars and kahoon.
