CVEST@IIITH develops e-crackers prototype

Researchers from the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, have developed zero-vapour emitting e-crackers to combat pollution during Diwali. These firecrackers use electronic circuits to produce sounds and flickering LEDs, replicating the effects of chemical firecrackers without the harmful vapours.
