Dr. Karthik Vaidhyanathan participated as an expert panel member in UDYAMA1.0: Industry Academia Government Conclave organized by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Kerala on 8 December at Trivandrum. The panel discussion focussed on the topic Emerging Cutting-edge Frontiers of Technology – Impact on Technical Education. Dr. Dr. Vaidhyanathan shared his thoughts on Engineering AI systems, and the challenges that need to be addressed, and discussed how technical education can be enriched with more research-driven aspects to make courses engaging and forward-thinking. The panel consisted of other eminent members both from Industry and academia.
