The Things Conference India

The Things Conference  India was held at Hyderabad International Convention Center (HICC), Hyderabad on 9 and 10 November. IIIT Hyderabad was an Academia Partner of the conference the main organizer was CyberEy, a startup headed by few IIIT-H alumni like Sesha Sai. The conference gave insights into how LoRaWAN is enabling Smart Cities & IoT applications at scale, by breaking crucial on-ground limitations.

LoRaWAN is a cutting-edge Low-Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) technology protocol that has been designed to wirelessly connect “Things” in regional, national or global networks.   LoRaWAN offers multi-kilometer connectivity at astonishingly low power consumption rates. This breaks the constraints imposed by traditional networking technologies and thereby opens up a whole new range of applications in the IoT world.

The Things Conference India was a huge success with all the tech-experts and thought leaders from across the world guiding the tech-enthusiasts to discover the power and potential of LoRaWAN.
