Infinium Tech Debate

3 October 2025

The Debate society conducted debates on tech in Asian Parliamentary format.

Build2Break (Infinium)

4 – 5 October 2025

This two-phase hackathon brought a unique twist to traditional coding contests. The first phase ran till midnight, where teams built software based on a given problem statement. The second phase flipped the script—participants analyzed and attempted to break each other’s submissions by finding bugs and vulnerabilities. This dynamic format encouraged both constructive development and critical evaluation, pushing teams to think like builders and breakers. The event fostered a competitive yet collaborative atmosphere, blending innovation with strategic debugging.

Infinium – ERC Line follower competition

4 – 5 October 2025

This Line Follower Competition is a robotics event where autonomous robots follow a marked path, usually a black line on a white surface. Robots use sensors like infrared or optical to detect the line and control motors to stay on track. The goal is to complete the course as quickly and accurately as possible without human help. Tracks may include curves, intersections, or obstacles to test precision and control. Performance is judged on speed, accuracy, and stability. The event helps participants learn about sensors, programming, and control algorithms, making it a popular introduction to robotics and automation.

The Deccan CTF

5  October 2025

Deccan CTF was a high-energy cybersecurity challenge designed to test participants’ skills in ethical hacking and problem-solving. Organized in a Capture The Flag format, the event featured puzzles across categories like cryptography, reverse engineering, web exploitation, and forensics. Participants raced against time to uncover hidden flags and vulnerabilities, showcasing sharp analytical thinking. The event fostered a competitive yet collaborative environment, drawing enthusiasts from diverse technical backgrounds. Deccan CTF proved to be a thrilling platform for learning, teamwork, and showcasing cybersecurity prowess.

Infinium – Hovercraft Challenge

5 October 2025

The Hovercraft Challenge was an interdisciplinary technical event inspired by the resilience and versatility of space rovers. Participants designed and built small-scale hovercrafts capable of navigating a custom-built obstacle track. The track itself was thoughtfully engineered to test maneuverability, control, and design innovation. Teams applied principles from multiple domains—mechanical, electrical, and software—to bring their hovercrafts to life. The event celebrated creativity, engineering rigor, and the spirit of exploration through hands-on problem solving.

Intro to manim

6 October 2025

A workshop where attendees are exposed to Manim, a python library allowing users to create animations like those seen in popular math channels, especially 3blue1brown. Participants will be able to create a scene and animate basic shapes, coordinate axes and text in Manim by the end of the workshop.
