Dr. Pawan Kumar and his students Abhinav Aggarwal and Sivan Kakkar presented virtually a short paper and a poster on A Fast Parameter Free Preconditioner for Structured Grid Problems at Supercomputing Conference (SC21) from 14 – 19 November.

Research work as explained by the authors: A fast, robust, parallel, and parameter free version of a frequency filtering preconditioned gradient method is proposed for linear systems corresponding to diffusion equation on a structured grid. Proposed solver is faster than the existing state-of-the-art solvers.
