Dr. O. Jyothi and Dr. D. Swetha Reddy, Asha Hospital, Hyderabad spoke about Substance Abuse and its Effect on Mental Health  on 13 April. They discussed the short-term and long-term effects of substance abuse, how students get caught into its trap, and the adverse effects of substance abuse on behaviour and career decisions.

Dr. D. Swetha Reddy is a consultant psychiatrist at Asha Hospital and recipient of Samvedhana award for her research work on bipolar disorder.
