Education Outreach conducted the Speech Processing Master Workshop under the college research affiliate program Batch 2 on 25 March. Around 60 students and 6 faculty members participated from different colleges like SAINTGITS- Kerala, HITAM- Hyderabad, and KIET- Kakinada. Dr. Chiranjeevi Yarra and Dr. Anil Kumar Vuppala  discussed speech-processing applications and challenges with the participants in this one-day workshop. Research scholars from the Speech lab presented their work on speech pathology, ASR, prosody analysis, and speech-to-speech translation. Visiting students and faculty were excited to work with the Speech lab for internships, higher studies, and research projects. Furthermore the students would do some BTP projects and faculty members would write proposals and do some research projects under the guidance of IIITH professors.
