Celebrations began with a march-past by students and security. Prof. P J Narayanan hoisted the national flag while the entire football ground reverberated with the national anthem. This was followed by Director’s address and cultural programs by the students. Like every year this year too NSS IIIT-Hyderabad organised a blood donation camp with the help of Osmania Hospital at Aarogya center. Mr. Nadeem Hussain, Care Taker (Kadamba Nivas) took a lead role in successfully organizing the blood donation camp under the supervision of Dr. Anuradha, RMO and Blood Bank Officer of Osmania.
