Human Values Cell, IIIT Hyderabad in association with CHDHC organized a 5-day refresher workshop on Universal Human Values(UHV), Jeevan Vidya from 5 – 9 September. The workshop was  coordinated by Prof. R  Pradeep Kumar. Nearly 54 participants from different fields/areas like academia, psychologists, doctors, NGOs, working professionals from private and public sectors participated. This workshop was in Telugu language and was for people who have attended the UHV workshop at least once. Classes were held from 6am to 8am and group discussion was from 7pm to 8pm. The topics covered during the workshop were: 

• Introduction and need for UHV-JV
• Holistic development and role of education
• Understanding human aspirations and human beings, human relations and issues, relationship with parents, teacher, spouse, children, etc, relationship – gratitude & other feelings, society and our relationship with it, nature and our relationship with nature and entire existence and our role in it.
