Shri Vidhatri M M, UG4, CND working under the supervision of Dr. Tapan Kumar Sau participated in UNLEASH 2022 conducted at Infosys campus, Mysore from 3 – 11 December. The team of Shri Vidhatri was one of the top 7 finalists among all the teams participating in the innovation lab.

The program was about creating sustainable solutions for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including but not limited to non-communicable diseases, poverty, quality education, mental health, climate action, clean water and sanitation, clean energy, source to sink and justice. 

Around 1000 people from more than 100 countries aged 18 – 35 participated in this innovative lab by teaming up and coming up with a sustainable solution for the chosen SDG.

Under the topic of mental health and well-being, the idea presented by Shri Vidhatri’s  team was chosen as the best. The team presented in front of an audience with various sponsors and partners worldwide and was considered as one of the  top 7 ideas at UNLEASH 2022  among all the teams participating in the innovation lab.

The idea included giving a support system and safe space to the young children of the Dharavi slum community where they gain awareness to understand their mental health issues, deal with their emotions and get a platform to showcase their talents in a simple, cost-effective manner.
