Raj Vattikuti, Founder & Executive Chairman of Calibo, gave a talk at The Founder’s AI Handbook, organised by E-Cell, IIIT Hyderabad, on 9 September. This was the inaugural session of a year-long series featuring leading voices in entrepreneurship and innovation.

Raj Vattikuti is a serial entrepreneur and philanthropist with over four decades of experience building global technology ventures. He is the Founder & Executive Chairman of Calibo, an AI-driven business innovation company focused on helping enterprises drive innovation and translate technology investments into measurable business outcomes. He founded Covansys in 1985, which grew to over 8,000 employees worldwide and was acquired by CSC in 2007 for around $1.3 billion.

He was the founder and led ventures including Altimetrik, Synova, Vattikuti Ventures, and Vattikuti Technologies. He is the founder of Calibo AI Academy, an industry-integrated AI talent initiative in partnership with the Government of Andhra Pradesh. He also co-founded the Vattikuti Foundation in 1997, driving major healthcare, cancer research, robotic surgery training, and social impact initiatives. He is the recipient of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2020 National Award, Gold Stevie Award, TiE Detroit Lifetime Achievement Award, Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship, and Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
