The PlayStation Gaming Event, held in collaboration with the PlayMax Campus League by PlayStation, brought an electrifying gaming experience to IIIT Hyderabad. As part of PlayStation’s initiative to establish Experience Zones across top Indian institutes, the event aimed to immerse students in cutting-edge gaming and tech. 

Over two action-packed days, the event saw an overwhelming turnout, with enthusiastic participation from across campus. Attendees engaged with top-tier gaming setups, fostering a vibrant and competitive atmosphere. The success of the event marked a promising start to a potential long-term collaboration with PlayStation’s campus outreach.

Pumpkin Carving

The Pumpkin Carving Session was a hands-on, festive prelude to the Halloween Party, bringing creativity and community spirit to life. Participants teamed up to carve pumpkins using provided tools, transforming them into spooky or silly masterpieces. 

The collaborative atmosphere made for a fun and safe environment to explore artistic expression. Later, the carved pumpkins lit up the Halloween Party, each glowing with a candle and surrounded by photo ops. The event blended tradition, teamwork, and celebration—setting the perfect tone for a memorable Halloween night.

Halloween Party

The Halloween Party was a vibrant post-quiz celebration filled with games, music, and spooky fun. Attendees enjoyed a variety of interactive games and a face/body painting booth that added flair to their costumes. 

A themed photo booth with props captured the spirit of the night, letting guests pose with their outfits in style. The dance floor kept the energy high, while the ramp walk showcased creative costumes, awarding prizes to the top three. Overall, it was a lively and immersive experience where everyone could unwind, celebrate, and embrace the Halloween vibe.
