November 2022
The game design course open house was back on campus on 27 November after a 2 year break due to covid. Every year, children are invited to provide crucial insights on the games. This year there were a total of 34 games (33 video and 1 tabletop RPG) designed and developed by student teams. Over the years, some of the good ones have been transferred to NGOs, schools and also startups. A few were continued to be written up as conference papers. The game development process is also an application of the basics in programming, software development principles, graphics and AI the students cover. But over and above course grades – the event was fun and a challenge, building a product to be showcased.
