International Conference on VLSI Design

Zia Abbas and his students Prasenjit Saha and Hema Sai Kalluru   presented a paper virually on Transistor Sizing based PVT-aware Low Power Optimization using Swarm Intelligence at the IEEE 34th International Conference on VLSI Design (VLSID) 2021 at Guwahati from 20 – 24  February.

The VLSI Design Conference was sponsored by VLSI Society of India (VSI). This Conference started as a simple idea in 1985, to sense the level of VLSI activities in India with a focus on engineering education & research. Over the years, the conference has grown equilaterally with a VLSI community that includes the likes of Multinational Industries, Academic contributors and Government bodies around the globe. With its global footprints VLSID is recognized as a ‘Sister Conference’ of Design Automation Conference.

The 34th International Conference on VLSI Design (VLSID 2021) is a global event held annually in India in the field of VLSI design. Bringing together all ecosystem stakeholders that includes academia, industry, R&D houses and policy makers in the field of hardware and software system design, verification, test, EDA tools, and manufacturing of electronic systems. It is a flagship event of VLSI Society of India (VSI). The 20th International Conference on Embedded Systems was collocated with VLSID 2021. This edition of the conference was jointly organized by IIT Guwahati and IIT Roorkee along with VLSI Society of India. Due to COVID 19 this year’s conference was held virtually.
