India Today Ranking
IIIT Hyderabad was ranked the 9th best university in India by a survey conducted by India Today. The ranking criteria is based on PG programs offered in three categories: General (Government and Private), Technical and Medical/Law.
The objective methodology consisted of 120+ attributes grouped into five broad parameters: reputation and governance; academic and research excellence; infrastructure and living experience; personality and leadership development and career progression and placements.

IIITH ranked prominently in different categories of The Week, an Indian news magazine founded in 1982 and published by The Malayala Manorama Co. Ltd.
