IIIT-H research featured in NASSCOM AI Compendium

Research led by Dr. Karthik Vaidhyanathan, along with his students—Rudra Dhar, Adyansh Kakran, Sreemaee Akshathala, Shrikara Arun, and Amey Karan—has been featured in the NASSCOM Compendium of India’s Top AI Research 2025. The work was carried out in collaboration with Kannan Parthasarathy, Venkat Krishnamachari, Basil Muhammed, Sumant Dubey, and Mohan Veerubhotla from MontyCloud Inc., Bangalore.

The team developed Meta Orchestrator of Your Agents (MOYA), a modular multi-agent framework designed for Autonomous CloudOps. MOYA offers an integrated ecosystem comprising an agent marketplace, a tool registry, and an orchestration engine to build, manage, and deploy CloudOps agents efficiently. Addressing the inherent complexity, error-proneness, and resource-intensive nature of CloudOps, MOYA stands out as one of the first engineered multi-agent frameworks in this domain.

Beyond its core capabilities, MOYA enables the creation of a reusable agent ecosystem, fostering transparency, peer validation, and faster innovation cycles. Its plug-and-play architecture allows seamless integration of new enterprise solutions and adaptability across multiple cloud vendors. While originally developed for autonomous CloudOps, the framework has demonstrated strong potential to generalize across domains as a lightweight, versatile agentic AI framework.
