IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI-2020)

Alakh Desai and Ruchi Chauhan working under the supervision of Prof. Jayanthi Sivaswamy presented a paper on Image Segmentation Using Hybrid Representations at IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI-2020), Iowa City, USA from 3 – 7 April. They presented the paper virtually due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Alakh had done this research work as part of his Honours project and is currently doing his MS in the  US. Ruchi is a MS student currently at IIITH.

The IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI) is a scientific conference dedicated to mathematical, algorithmic, and computational aspects of biological and biomedical imaging, across all scales of observation. It fosters knowledge transfer among different imaging communities and contributes to an integrative approach to biomedical imaging. ISBI is a joint initiative from the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) and the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society Following presentation has been accepted in the 57th Design Automation Conference (DAC), 2020 (Accepted in Design Track)
