Dr. P Pravin Kumar Venkat Rao gave an invited talk on Sustainable Performance Enhancement of Masonry Walls with Textile- and Wire-Reinforced Composites at the International Conference on Seismic Resilient Infrastructure (ICSRI-2026), organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT (BHU), Varanasi, from 13  to 15 March. In his talk Dr. Pravin Kumar highlighted advanced strengthening strategies for improving the seismic performance of masonry structures, with a focus on sustainable and efficient retrofitting techniques.

In addition, he chaired a technical session on “Seismic Vulnerability, Risk, and Resilience Assessment,” featuring insightful contributions from researchers and practitioners addressing key challenges in earthquake engineering.

The conference provided an excellent platform for technical discussions and knowledge exchange with peers, senior faculty, and experts in structural and geotechnical engineering. These interactions offered valuable insights into emerging research trends and practical approaches for enhancing infrastructure resilience.
