IIIT Hyderabad football team participated in the annual sports fest of BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus and emerged as runners up among 24 teams who participated in the tournament.

Quarter Finals

IIITH Football Team played the quarter finals against Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (IARE) on 26 January at BITS Hyderabad campus. The match ended in a 0-0 draw, but the match went into penalties and eventually IIIT-H won by 4-3. The winning penalty was scored by Shubhik Pokhriyal (M.Tech).

Semi Finals

IIITH Football Team played the Semi Final match against BITS Goa on 27 January at BITS Hyderabad campus. Like the quarter final match this too ended in a 0-0 draw, but the match went into penalties and IIITH won by 5-4.

Finals

In the final match IIIT Hyderabad team was runners while the host team, BITS Pilani, Hyderabad campus  was the winner.
