Dr. Nimmi Rangaswamy was invited for Dialogue 2023 – Expanding Science and Technology Horizon held in Bangalore on 18 November. The event was organised by the office of the principle scientific advisor to the government of India. Dr. Rangaswamy was in a keynote dialogue with Mr. Sharad Sharma Co-Founder, iSPIRT Foundation in a  session on Ethics of Disruptive Technologies. This was framed as a discussion between a technologist and an ethicist. The objective of this session was to delve into the ethical principles that should guide anticipatory governance strategies when dealing with disruptive technologies.
