Dr. Priyesh Shukla  has joined the Center for VLSI and Embedded Systems Technology (CVEST)  as an Assistant Professor.

Dr. Priyesh Shukla has worked as Chief Engineer at the Advanced Research Group in Samsung Research, Bengaluru. He obtained his Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Illinois at Chicago, United States (2022). He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Master’s degree in Microelectronics from BITS-Pilani in 2015 and 2017 respectively. In the past, he has been associated with Bose Research-Massachusetts, Qualcomm-San Diego and Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) CEERI-Pilani. He is interested in domain-specific compute research across devices, circuits, architectures, systems and co-designed algorithms; Probabilistic AI/ML; compute paradigm for nanorobotics; Compute-in-memory; RISC-V based open HW-SW ecosystem; and healthcare. His works have been published in top tier conferences and journals. He is a member of IEEE Computer Society and IEEE Signal Processing Society. He is a recipient of IEEE AICAS best paper award, Peter and Deborah Wexler Young Researcher award and several other awards and accolades in the research community.
