Dr. Deva Priyakumar gave a talk on Rise of The Machines: Chemistry With Machine Learning at the Sixteenth Theoretical Chemistry Symposium 2019 at BITS Pilani from 13 to 16 February. And Dr. Prabhakar Bhimalapuram gave a talk on Estimation of rates of transitions at the conference.
The biennial Theoretical Chemistry Symposium is the largest platform for the theoretical and computational chemistry research community in India. TCS 2019 gathered researchers from diverse areas in theoretical and computational chemistry involving fundamental research in quantum mechanics, statistical mechanics, molecular mechanics, molecular dynamics, etc and their applications in chemical reactivity, reaction paths, nano-technology, polymers, biological systems, etc. The symposium had invited lectures, poster sessions and offered numerous opportunities for scientific as well as social interactions.
