Dr. P Pravin Kumar Venkat Rao gave a guest lecture on Masonry Buildings and Their Behaviour Under Seismic Loads on 30 March. The lecture was conducted as part of the Finishing School Programme for Civil Engineering B.Tech graduates, sponsored by Vaaradhi Trust and organized by the National Academy of Construction, Hyderabad.

The session provided valuable insights into the seismic performance of masonry structures, highlighting key failure mechanisms and the importance of effective strengthening and retrofitting strategies. It also offered a platform for engaging with aspiring civil engineers, fostering meaningful technical discussions and knowledge exchange.
