Dr. Nazia Akhtar was invited to give a guest seminar at IIT Hyderabad on 31 March  where she spoke about The Reluctant Writer: Fatima Alam Ali (1923-2020) and the Urdu Khaaka Genre.  Dr. Akhtar’s talk was based on her new research on Hyderabadi women’s non-fiction  prose.
