Dr. Jofin George has joined Earthquake Engineering Research Center (EERC) as an Assistant Professor . His research interests include Statics and Kinematics of Structural Systems, Structural Assessment, Structural Health Monitoring.

Prior to joining IIITH Dr. Jofin George was a postdoctoral researcher at the National Centre for Safety of Heritage Structures, Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Madras.  He obtained his Ph.D in Structural Engineering from IIT Madras. He did his M.Tech in Structural Engineering from IIT Hyderabad and his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from College of Engineering, Trivandrum. 

Dr. George is a Reviewer of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Journal of Bridge Engineering, and Advances in Structural Engineering Journal.
