Dr. Antony Thomas has joined the Robotics Research Center (RRC) as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Antony Thomas obtained his Ph.D and also did his postdoctoral research from the University of Genoa, Italy. He received his Dual Degree (B.Tech & M.Tech) in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and an M.Sc degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. His research interests include robot motion planning, integrated task and motion planning, motion planning infeasibility, collision avoidance planning, and planning under uncertainty. He is the recipient of the Leonard and Diane Sherman Interdisciplinary Graduate School Fellowship (2016) for his M.Sc research.
