Prof. Raman Saxena was a speaker and a panelist at the 16th Edition of the Pune Design Festival Conference from 28 February to 5 March. On 3 March Prof. Saxena gave a talk on A PhD should be about improving society and not just chasing academic accolade. And on 4 March he gave his views and insights as a panelist of a Panel Discussion on The Future of Design Research and Education.
The 16th edition of Pune Design Festival, popularly known as PDF was held in a hybrid mode. The conference brought the viewpoints of designers and students on a single platform. Organised by the Association of Designers (ADI) of India, Pune Design Festival offered a platform to help Indian designers network. With this platform, ADI aims to strengthen and promote capabilities of the design professionals in India. The conference covered topics like responsible design, communication design, visual design and more.
