Film Workshops (24, 26 and 29 March)

The 3-day Filmmaking Workshop was an immersive journey into the art of storytelling and visual creation, covering every aspect from pre-production to post-production.

 Day 1: Focused on the foundations of filmmaking, including storyboarding, planning, set scouting, character and costume design, shot planning, props, world-building, and sound design.

 Day 2: Delved into the technical and creative aspects of directing, covering composition, lighting, camera techniques, budgeting, acting direction, color theory, and animation.

Day 3: Brought everything together with hands-on training in editing, VFX, and sound design, refining the final cinematic vision.

Movie Screening – Mayanagar (30 March)

The screening of Mayanagar, organized on demand by the Bengali community students, was a fantastic experience. The film’s storytelling and cultural depth captivated the audience, sparking discussions and appreciation for Bengali cinema.
