City Orientation Trip for PG-1 Students

On 4 August, the institute organised an enriching city orientation trip for the newly joining PG-1 students, offering them a unique opportunity to explore and connect with the vibrant culture and history of Hyderabad. This annual event is designed to help students acclimatise to their new surroundings and notable landmarks.

The day began with a visit to Golconda Fort, where students were captivated by the grandeur of this historic fortress and its panoramic views. The tour then moved to Deccan Park, providing a refreshing interlude amidst lush greenery and had lunch there. The group then explored the Qutb Shahi Tombs, gaining insight into the architectural marvels and historical significance of the Qutb Shahi dynasty.

Following this, the group visited the Telangana Secretariat and the Telangana Martyrs’ Memorial, gaining insight into the political and historical significance of these important sites and then spent time at Lumbini Park. A scenic boat ride from Lumbini Park to the iconic Buddha statue was the highlight of the trip. This journey across the lake offered students a unique perspective of the city and a memorable experience. 

Overall, the orientation trip was a resounding success, allowing students to discover the city’s landmarks and heritage while fostering a sense of community and belonging.
