IIIT Hyderabad conducted a two-day special event – Celebrating Rajeev Sangal on 5 and 6 July at the IIITH campus. Prof. Rajeev Sangal was the first full time director of IIITH. He has been the guiding force behind IIITH as well as several other academic and governance initiatives in India. Prof. Rajeev Sangal has made several significant contributions to Computer Science Education, Natural Language Processing research, Value Education, and institution/nation building in his long and illustrious career.
