Mrs. G  Vijayalakshmi, Founder and President Ivy Animal Welfare Foundation (IAWF)  and Mrs. Aanchal Khanna, Academic In-charge in Sunflower Vedic, Passionate Animal Activists conducted a Canine Companionship Workshop: Understanding and Celebrating Our Four-Legged Friends on 15 November.

This engaging workshop was dedicated to enhance our relationship with the dogs on our campus. It was a perfect blend of expert insights and practical advice tailored for both dog enthusiasts and those who are hesitant or unfamiliar with canine companions.

The workshop gave the participants insights into:

• Understanding dog behaviour: Learn the ‘why’ behind their actions.
  Dos and Don’ts: Tips for promoting a harmonious coexistence. 
• Overcoming Apprehensions: Transform any fear or hesitation into a positive experience.
• Celebrating the Human-Dog Bond: Explore the unique connection we share with our furry friends.

It was more than just a learning experience, giving participants a chance to contribute to a more enjoyable and inclusive campus life.  The workshop gave the dog lovers to deepen their knowledge and connection, and also for those who are wary of dogs. It helped them to gain confidence and understanding in a supportive setting.
