Theatre Workshop – Three daughters

 

Day 1: “Body-Object-Space-Story”

Time: 2 to 6pm

Date: 2nd February

Venue: Tarangini dance room

Summary: This workshop will explore the body-object relationship and its dynamics within

performance space. It will engage in exploring the relationship of the object with the body beyond daily utilitarian purposes.

Day 2: “From the real self to the dramatic self”

Time: 2 to 6pm

Date: 3rd February

Venue: Tarangini dance room

Summary: The journey of an individual from the real self to the dramatic self through a series of

exercises focusing on body, breath, agility, flexibility, inner intensity, gradation of energy, action,

reaction and connections.

Day 2: Ek Akeli Aurat

Time: 7: 30 to 8: 30pm

Venue: Open amphitheatre

Summary: Ek Akeli Aurat is a testimony to the human spirit and demonstrates what we are all

capable of doing when pushed to the limit of our patience. A character is found seldom in the

society which is bold, beautiful and brave! Yet, the question remains, will she be able to live freely and break shackles? Will she get the love & care she desires & deserves?
