Dr Karthik Vaidhyanathan Teaches Agentic AI at SustainAI Summer School in Denmark 

Dr Karthik Vaidhyanathan, Assistant Professor at IIIT Hyderabad, participated as an instructor at the SustainAI Summer School on “Engineering Agentic AI: From Lab to Land”, held at SDU Vejle, University of Southern Denmark.

The five-day summer school brought together around 20 PhD students from different countries and focused on the engineering and practical development of Agentic AI systems. The programme combined lectures with hands-on sessions, enabling participants to build and experiment with agentic systems across application areas including healthcare, robotics, software engineering, and personal agents.

Dr Vaidhyanathan delivered lectures on agentic AI and guided participants through hands-on activities focused on building agentic systems. His PhD student, Rudra Dhar, also contributed to the hands-on tutorials.

The programme provided participants with practical experience in developing Agentic AI systems while facilitating interaction and knowledge exchange among researchers and PhD students from diverse backgrounds. The participation also highlighted the ongoing research and educational activities of the Software Engineering Research Center (SERC), IIIT Hyderabad, and its SA4S team in Agentic AI and software engineering.
