Dr. Shubham Singhal, Assistant Professor, Earthquake Engineering Research Centre (EERC), delivered an insightful guest lecture on “Data-Driven Structural Engineering: Machine Learning Concepts, Framework & Applications” during the workshop on “AI & Machine Learning for Civil Engineering: From Smart Infrastructure to Intelligent Construction” held on 9 September at Vasavi College of Engineering, Hyderabad. 

The lecture focused on the fundamentals of machine learning and its emerging applications in structural engineering, highlighting the role of data-driven approaches in advancing intelligent, efficient, and resilient infrastructure. The session provided participants with valuable insights into contemporary developments at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and civil engineering.
