IIIT Hyderabad celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The programme featured flag hoisting followed by singing of the national anthem, addresses by institute leadership, signing of the Student Parliament Charter, and vibrant patriotic performances by students. The celebrations brought together students, faculty, staff, alumni, and residents in a collective tribute to the nation.

As part of the observances, the NSS Unit of IIIT Hyderabad, in collaboration with Osmania General Hospital, organised a blood donation drive, reflecting the institute’s commitment to community service and social responsibility.

The event concluded on a positive note, reinforcing the values of patriotism, unity, democratic participation, service, and collective responsibility among the IIIT Hyderabad community.
