IIIT Hyderabad faculty have secured three new research grants. All three projects are funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) and reflect IIIT Hyderabad’s continued commitment to high-impact research addressing societal and technological challenges.

• Prof. Jawahar C V (CVIT) will lead a project on AI-driven Sign Language Technologies aimed at empowering and assisting the hard-of-hearing community through advanced language technologies.
• Prof. Arti Yardi (SPCRC) has received support for research on Blind Identification of Channel Codes, focusing on the fundamental limits, algorithms, and analysis of communication systems.
• Prof. Lalitha Vadlamani (SPCRC) will lead a project on Quantum LDPC Codes and Topological Codes for Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computation, advancing the foundations of reliable quantum computing.
