IIIT-H UoH MoU for Semiconductor Innovation

The International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIIT-H) and University of Hyderabad (UoH) signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 21 May to strengthen collaboration in semiconductor research, innovation, and interdisciplinary academic programs.

The partnership will facilitate joint research, co-teaching, and collaborative supervision of postgraduate and Ph.D scholars, while enabling reciprocal access to advanced laboratories, high-performance computing (HPC) facilities, and library resources at both institutions. By leveraging complementary expertise and state-of-the-art infrastructure, the collaboration aims to drive deep-tech innovation and address key national priorities.

The MoU also envisions future joint degree programs in specialized areas such as VLSI and Semiconductor Technologies, while fostering joint publications, intellectual property creation, academic events, and competitive research grants.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Prof. Sandeep K Shukla, Director, IIIT-H  and Prof. J Anuradha, Vice-Chancellor In-Charge, UoH,  along with senior academic and administrative representatives from both institutions.
