International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad hosted InDIITA 2026, an IEEE Standards Association workshop on the theme “DIITA by Default – Making Dignity, Inclusion, Identity, Trust & Agency the baseline of digital systems” on 9 May 2026. The workshop brought together experts from industry, academia, and policymaking to examine how digital systems shape people’s lives and how human values can be embedded into technology through standards and governance frameworks.

The programme featured keynote talks, panel discussions, and interactive breakout sessions spanning areas such as AI, digital infrastructure, identity systems, and governance. Discussions focused on themes including Digital Trade & Interoperability, Explainable & Trustworthy AI, AI & Data Infrastructure, Digital Government & Policy Architecture, and Identity Systems.
