The BITS Hyderabad Quiz Club organized BITS Pearl Quizmos on 21–22 February, bringing together quiz enthusiasts from across institutions. IIIT Hyderabad students participated in five out of the eleven quiz competitions, delivering an impressive performance across multiple categories.
Notably, IIIT-H teams secured top honors in the Travel, Lifestyle and Culture Quiz and the Sports Quiz. In the Travel, Lifestyle and Culture Quiz, Prabhav and Monish clinched first place, winning a cash prize of ₹6,000. The team of Ashwin, Pranay, and Prabhav achieved second place in the Sports Quiz, earning ₹4,000. Additionally, in the General Quiz, the team comprising Vinayak, Arush, and Prabhav received a Special Mention as the best-performing college team.
A total of ten students represented IIIT Hyderabad at the event: Anvithraj (UG3), Pranay (UG1), Vishesh (UG3), Monish (UG4), Arush (UG1), Vishak (UG3), Vinayak (UG1), Pratyush (UG2), Prabhav (UG4), and Ashwin (UG1). They actively participated across multiple quizzes, including Pop Culture, Brainrot, Sports, Travel, Lifestyle and Culture, and General Quiz categories.
The strong showing at BITS Pearl Quizmos highlights the enthusiasm, knowledge, and competitive spirit of IIIT-H students in the quizzing circuit.
