Dr. Aftab M Hussain has been selected for the Young Faculty Research Fellowship (YFRF) under the Visvesvaraya Ph.D. Scheme of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.

The YFRF is a prestigious initiative by MeitY aimed at supporting young faculty researchers in the fields of electronics and information technology. The fellowship provides financial support of ₹20,000 per month along with a contingency grant of ₹5 lakh per year for a duration of up to five years. It is awarded to faculty members under the age of 40 who hold a Ph.D from a recognised institution, enabling them to pursue advanced research and innovation.
