Dr. Arti Yardi has joined Signal Processing and Communications Research Center (SPCRC) as a DST-INSPIRE Faculty Fellow. Her research interests are in error correcting codes (with primary focus on cyclic, LDPC, Turbo, and spatially-coupled codes), Coding for distributed machine learning and distributed data storage, Covert communication, Reverse engineering of communication systems, Information theory.
Dr. Arti D Yardi received her M.Tech and Ph.D dual degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay. She was a Center International de Mathématiques et Informatique (CIMI) postdoctoral fellow at Informatics Research Institute of Toulouse (IRIT), France. Subsequently she was associated with IIIT Bangalore as a DST-INSPIRE faculty. The primary research of Dr. Arti Yardi is in the domain of information and coding theory. She has worked on the problems related to reverse engineering of communication systems, covert communication, analyzing spatially-coupled codes, and coding for distributed machine learning.
