Alumnus Dhaval Mehta, MTech, CSE 2001 – 2003 passed away on 8 April in Hawaii. IIIT Hyderabad expresses its deepest condolences to the bereaved family of Dhaval Mehta and prays for his departed soul.

Dhaval and his family were reuniting with friends and other IIITH alumni in Hawaii when the accident happened. Dhaval was an employee with Google in San Francisco for the last 10 years. He is survived by his parents, wife and two young daughters.

A memorial service was held on 24 April to pay homage and share memories of Dhaval Mehta.
