Rekindling Connections, Inspiring Conversations
The IIIT Hyderabad alumni community came together for a heartwarming reunion in Sunnyvale, Bay Area, sponsored and organized by Anshuman Singh and Abhimanyu Saxena from Scaler.

The evening was filled with warmth, nostalgia, and inspiring conversations — from strengthening the alumni network and nurturing a vibrant founder ecosystem in the Bay Area, to discussing the evolution of AI and IIITH’s growing role in shaping its future. It was incredible to see so many familiar faces reunite, all bound by the shared IIITH spirit that continues to push boundaries across the globe.

Strengthening the Alumni Ecosystem
The event also sparked several exciting initiatives to deepen engagement and collaboration among the IIITH community worldwide:

Entrepreneurs Meetups
Regular AI Experts + IIIT Entrepreneurs meetups are being planned in the Bay Area to create a space for collaboration, learning, and idea exchange. Alumni interested in helping coordinate these events are encouraged to reach out and get involved.

Call for Batch Representatives
The alumni network thrives on active participation. Currently, there is representation from about 60% of undergraduate and less than 30% of master’s batches. The Council invites alumni to nominate themselves or their peers as Batch Representatives, who play a key role in sharing updates and mobilizing their batch communities for alumni initiatives.

The Sunnyvale meet reaffirmed the strength and spirit of the IIITH alumni community — a network that continues to innovate, collaborate, and give back, wherever in the world it goes.
